TenMarks Math Program

Melissa Allen, Teacher from our LABBB John Glenn Middle School in Bedford, shared this math site with me. I tried it out and thought it was a great program. Please read her excerpt below.
“I came across it on Teacher Tube and decided to try it out–it is actually free for teachers. I currently use Ten Marks simply as supplemental practice (usually HW) with my math group. You can pick 3 strands to work on from whatever grade level you choose. It literally takes about 3 minutes to assign a group of questions that is then sent to individualized on-line student accounts. So the student logs in, finds his/her assignment, completes it, and then it tracks the progress for you. As a teacher it is great because parents are always looking for extra math practice, it looks like standardized test questions so it is great for MCAS practice, and it is so easy to use.”
For more information check out the tenmarks website. It is free for educators.

Cool, Melissa. I’ve added it to my Math Favs for the time being.
Be good, Brian
