LABBB Collaborative began developing programs for students with special needs in 1974 and we serve over 300 students from 65 districts. The LABBB community includes five districts (Lexington, Arlington, Burlington, Bedford, Belmont). LABBB classrooms are located in 14 Buildings within these communities from Pre-school through High School, ages 3-22. We have a total of 33 classrooms and over 300 students who are part of our programs. We also have 15 work-sites for students who participate in our career development program.
Our community includes our host buildings and all the staff who are part of the building within the district including Teachers, Teaching Assistants, Specialists, Administrators and all the students who are enrolled in the school.
LABBB serves students on the Autism Spectrum, Aspergers, PDD, developmental delays, students with emotional and behavioral challenges, and students with multi-handicaps.
Outcomes for our students vary from students who will be part of the work world to students who go on to college.
Enjoy the LABBB Blogs and learn more about our programs, ask questions, and visit often!
