The Best Buddies of Arlington High School held their first campaign to, “Say No the “R” word, Spread the Word to End the Word”  in the auditorium of Arlington High School.  The auditorium was almost full as the Arlington High School freshman were extremely supportive in attending this event. The organizers of this campaign did a great job and everyone was very impressed with the presentation. The highlight of the campaign was when the Best Buddies invited all the freshman to come down to take the pledge to say No to the “R” word by signing their name on the banner. The line to sign the petition was very long and it was amazing to see the students waiting patiently to take the pledge. I want so send a special thank you to Jeff Caritey, Teacher,  LABBB Arlington High School, for his hard word in preparing the video presentation!

Please see the pictures below of the Arlington High School students signing the pledge to say No to the “R” Word.
